When I first saw the Untextbook I was amazed by the sheer number of links in the sidebar. After browsing the different headings, three of them stuck out as the most interesting.
Myth-Folklore Unit: Brothers Grimm (Ashliman): This collection was one of four Grimm Brothers collection of fairy tales. This collection is of particular interest due to a folklore class I took in high school.
Myth-Folklore Unit: The Life of Buddha: This collection of stories is part one of the story of Buddha. This set of stories interested me because my family has followed Buddhist teachings and when visiting Buddhist temples, I always found them very interesting and always wanted to learn more.
Myth-Folklore Unit: Arabian Nights: Of the three collections I chose, this is the one I am least familiar with. The title "Arabian Nights" sounded very familiar and is the reason why I looked into this topic more. It features a nested story telling technique and how the telling of these stories may mean life or death.
