Week 8 Comments and Feedback

Overall, I thought the comment I have received have been very helpful! They give me ideas on how to better my stories and expand on my storybook. The comments that push me to explain my ideas further have been the most helpful because it allows my ideas to expand. When giving feedback to other students, I feel like they are useful comments and similar to the ones I have received. I usually look for big ideas in the stories and how different aspects of the story can be explained in more detail or even expanded on since it was a very interesting idea. This reflection on other's posts has made me more aware of my own storytelling. So far, I feel like I have gotten to know the people in the class from reading their introductions as well as their writing. I also like how my introduction worked out since it seems as their are many other students with similar interests and allows us to connect on different levels. So far, I have enjoyed the feedback assignments as it has given me an opportunity to read other students' works. I would like to read fewer posts but have more in depth comments. Lastly, I would leave my blog the way it is because I prefer a simple blog rather than a complex one.

I thought this image is a really important aspect of the feedback process because we are creatures of habit. We tend to make the same mistakes multiple times and without reflecting on those mistakes,  we will continue to make them.
