Week 8 Reading and Writing

Looking back, I have enjoyed all the reading assignments in this course. The freedom to choose a set of stories from within a genre has been very nice since if a story doesn't seem very interesting, I have many other options to try. Each of the stories I read created a spark for the story telling aspect of each week. These helped me practice my creative writing skills and helped me transform my storybook into something I am quite proud of. So far in this class, I think the biggest accomplishment was deciding to do a storybook rather than a portfolio. I was very worried i wouldn't have a good storybook idea or that the idea would fall flat after the introduction. Looking forward, I would like to be even more creative with my story telling and try new methods for retelling stories.
