For the second part of this weeks reading, I read Grendel Attacks from the Beowulf unit. The writing in this unit has been very descriptive and this is one aspect I want to take away from the stories. Not only did it paint a vivid image in my mind, but it also made certain scenes more suspenseful and heightened the emotions associated with the scene. If I were to retell this story, I might tell it from the perspective of the Grendel.
